Paul Luckey I am a performance artist in the Dance Culture for the past 18 years. I believe in everything, but I don't believe that everything should be. I am a paradise child forging a path to said destination against all attempts to defeat our goal. I am either ahead of my time or so far behind that the cycle is coming back around to embrace me. I know that life can be a dance. And dancing is what I am good at. At times I am socially immature, and very proud of it, at other times I am too mature to be understood. Aware and awake amidst so many who sleep. My frustration is a product of an unseen foe, yet the reflection of its existence overwhelmingly apparent. Be the change you want in the world.
RIKARD Its really hard to place RIKARDS music under a certain category or genre.I would define it as a musical journey where anything can happen.Sometimes it evokes those unique passages of violin concertos of the Classicalperiod or those beautiful Chopin piano nocturnes which eventually can becomea very upbeat contemporary world musical piece.You can also find pieces with all sort of percussion sounds which emulate some kind of primitive background and at the same time listen to a beautiful choral musicarrangement. No matter what musical style or influence RIKARD is delivering to your ears, the equilibrium is certainly accomplished by the constant presence of his piano interpretations throughout his music.

debiglo I began taking piano lessons at the age of 5. My instructor was Professor Blumenthal, and he not only taught me perfect pitch but gave me the style I still use today. My family moved and it was too far to continue studying with Professor Blumenthal. Unable to find a satisfactory replacement, I gave up lessons but continued to play for my own enjoyment and continued developing my style. I did not receive encouragement in pursuing a musical career; consequently, few people ever heard me play. Six years ago, after a life-changing event, I relocated to Arizona and into an environment that was very supportive of my music. I was strongly encouraged to play small gatherings and even start recording my material. I am currently completing my second CD. My first CD "SOL" (named after my Dad) has been well received and has touched many lives. I am currently a full-time elementary school teacher. Many of my colleagues are using my CD in the classroom and find it has a very calming effect on both the teacher and the students. I look forward to the day when I can devote all my time to my music. One of the greatest joys of my life is knowing I have had a positive effect on many people's lives.

Based in Fairbanks, Alaska for over eleven years I have used my winter months indoors experimenting with different sounds and tones used in music theory. Music, being the basis of all invisble wave forms, can be a soothing experience. I have composed musical pieces for specifically that reason. To sooth the inner soul, another invisible form that lives in each one of us. Through the advanced technology of sound synthesis and wave form editting, it is no longer a challenge to arrange sounds as an artist would arrange colors of paint to be cast upon a blank canvas. Through this process I have achieved sound wave art. Like painting a picture, the sounds paint an image in your mind of serenity, tranquility and inner peace.
Several people have described my music as New Age or Untouched by store-bought CD's. So to write a description of my music or my type of music would be like asking some one to describe why their hair is black, blonde or brunette. My sounds, arrangements and final compositions are just thought up and recorded. Some are inspired by movies and by other songs that I think could be better if the artist would just change a few things. The groups that influenced my style would be Pink Floyd, Dire Strait, Enigma, Enya, Kraftwerk, Fluke, Fatboy Slim, Kitaro and Tangerine Dreams. I hope to be where they are today with their music.

"Even if you know nothing about the Portland-by-way-of-L.A. band's long and tortured history, its new, self-produced release "Beneath the Leaves" will leave you spent from its agonizing detachment, its angst and ennui, and the bone-weary ache of singer Janice Grube's drowsy voice. This is an intelligent, accomplished and eloquent pop band. There are no wasted syllables, no mind-numbing guitar solos, no obnoxious drum loops. The band members once flirted with major label success, but have seemed to shrug their shoulders at it, striking back by creating their own private sonic bubble that's both strong force and safe refuge. The album's opener, "6th and Main," sets the sleepy tone, though its mid-song crescendo is pure power pop. Comparisons will be made between Grube's voice and those of Stevie Nicks or Chrissie Hynde, but she hits closer to the raw nerve of Patti Smith. Every lyric is soul-baring. By the third cut, "Words to Reach You," Grube, drowning in resignation, casts a spell. The band never hits what might be considered even a mid-tempo overdrive until the seventh cut, "Sugar," an upbeat corker that, even with its loping bass line and rock beat, still sounds dreamy. Credit for the sound quality goes to guitarist Greg Windell. Windell strikes a delicate balance between his reverb- and tremolo-drenched electric guitar strokes, masterful acoustic chordal modes and other fresh guitar sounds that touch the edges of alt-country in their jangle and swirl. "Beneath the Leaves" shows sonic maturity beyond Watsonville's last, " Faster, Please!" It is a superbly produced project, and emotionally satisfying in its raw honesty and painful beauty." Michael MorganNEW! As an individual, I mostly speak with my music - combining my ideas, feelings, etc. to create songs.
